I struggled to get myself at a steady pace and getting through my tightened calves. I seemed to be fighting myself, upset I wasn’t as focused. I wanted to keep stopping because my body didn’t feel like it could push on. It was at 45 minutes I finally let the feeling go and I had my runner’s high. All of a sudden my body got this surge of energy, my legs pushed through and I was running faster. Last Thursday, I made a 4.74 mile run in 1.01:19 at a 12:56 pace. Today, I made a new PR and it feels awesome!
Stats: 1:01:10, 5.25 miles, 11:39 pace!!!
